On October, 23rd students-interpreters had meeting with Eugenia Kozarenko – founder of partial people fund “Dobrolyuby”.
Eugenia told students of groups P-2, P-3, and P-5 about the activities of the fund. “Dobrolyuby” is an organization of a social, non-commercial profile uniting people’s efforts to improve the quality of life and the world as a whole. The fund provides social support to children, adolescents, low-income and large families, seriously ill patients, families in divorce, people who find themselves in difficult life situations. Students were interested to learn how state aid is organized for such people and what ordinary people can do for them.
Future interpreters asked with great interest questions about the work of philanthropists, talked about how the volunteer and charity movement is organized in their countries, some students expressed a desire to take part in volunteer actions of the fund.
