The second (final) round of the Open International Internet-Olympiad in Informatics is completed. 660 students from 146 universities took part.
Students of the Faculty of Information Technology of the Altai State Technical University Artem Fast, Aleksey Kolpakov and Ilya Babushkin won two gold and one bronze medals. Semyon Kantor, the head of the Department of Applied Mathematics, notes that the students competed in the most popular «Specialized group (with in-depth study of the discipline)».
The final round of the Open International Internet-Olympiad was held in the form of online testing in the following disciplines: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Informatics, Statistics, Strength of Materials, Theoretical Mechanics, Ecology and Economy. Olympiads in these disciplines were held in 36 universities.
