AltSTU foreign students will be able to officially work while studying at the university.
From August 2020, foreign students can work in Russia without obtaining a «work permit» or «patent».
You can work in your free time from study. This requires:
- be a full-time student;
- study for bachelor’s, master’s or postgraduate studies;
- study under an educational program that has state accreditation.
It is assumed that this work opportunity will allow foreign students studying in Russia to gain practical skills in their chosen profession. In addition, having practical experience, it will be easier for foreign students to get a job after graduation. After working in Russia for only a year after graduation, a foreign citizen will be able to apply for Russian citizenship.
If student has completed or stopped training, the employment contract will be terminated.
